I have been called To serve as a Missionary for 

The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter day Saints.

Throughout the next year and a Half, My family will post my weekly e-mails on this blog

 so that I will be able to share some of my Mission experiences!

To be quite honest, I never thought I would be going on a mission. Although, over the past year, its been something that crossed my mind many times.

In order for me to go,

I wanted to personally receive a direct answer from the lord that I should serve.

I will never forget the day he answered my prayers.

I had been praying so intently to be directed on wither I should go out and serve, or stay and finish school. I was in my third semester, and had some big decisions ahead of me. In October I went to Zion’s with my friends family. One of their cousins had received her mission call. They thought it would be fun if she came up with her mission call to open it up around the campfire in front of all of her family. Before she opened it, she bore the sweetest testimony of missionary work. Hearing her testimony of missionary work hit me deep.

I felt the strongest spirit come over me.

I instantly walked away from the campfire, and found a quiet place alone to kneel and pray to my father in heaven. I felt as though he reached his hand into my heart and gave it a big squeeze. It was at that second I knew I would do whatever it took to go out on a mission. I could not be happier.

Three months later, I received my mission call to Lubbock Texas!
